![]() ![]() I am suprised how did they allowed launch of faulty product.ĭamn. They shouldn't even launch Live 8 without this working right!!!!. They (Ableton quarters) should be more carefull with this because this is serious issue I think. although it does suck.ĭamn.It is serious problem, really. It is not a solution to (re)load an old project everytime you want to automate some little parameter of some VST(i) !!! However i'm sure they'll sort this out soon as the VSTs that don't work were able to communicate with ableton7 (ie if you moved a parameter on the plugin's GUI the corresponding parameter in ableton would move). In dBlue Glitch there's this little 'timer' (a small white block) which decides which effect is on and which is not. ![]() I saved the project and reopened it after closing Ableton all the way and it was still mapped just as it was when I closed it. It should show up with the slider just fine. Luckily if you have something from ableton7 - a clip or project using that VST, you can access the first 128 parameters at least No problem And to answer your question, yes, sort of. The trick is to click 'Configure' then move the control you want to automate. Using the methods i show you, in my opinion, give you more control and a greater possibility for a really crazy sound (I'm targeting IDM/breakcore ppl here) and 3. z3ta+, fm7, predatohm, lots of freeware VSTs too - totally unautomatable! you get to learn new techniques to achieve certain effects.
